Hepatocellular carcinoma-associated fibroblasts (CAF-HCC) are primary human stromal cells isolated from tumor-adjacent liver tissues of HCC patients. These activated fibroblasts play a central role in tumor progression, fibrosis, immune modulation, and angiogenesis—making them indispensable for modeling the liver tumor microenvironment in vitro.

Our CAF-HCC lines are collected under ethical, HTA-compliant protocols and thoroughly validated for expression of CAF-specific markers and secretory profiles relevant to liver fibrosis and hepatocarcinogenesis. These cells are ideal for co-culture with HCC cell lines or organoids, fibrosis pathway screening, immunomodulation studies, and testing antifibrotic or antitumor therapies.

Please, inquire for the additional molecular characterisation of the cells and other isogenic cell types.
