Description
Our human intestinal enterocytes are primary epithelial cells isolated from ethically sourced human small intestine tissue and cultured under optimized conditions to maintain their physiological properties. These cells play a central role in nutrient absorption, drug transport, and intestinal barrier function, making them highly suitable for in vitro models of intestinal permeability, inflammation, and metabolism.
As part of our quality control process, EpCAM expression is tested and confirmed, ensuring that each lot consists of epithelial-lineage cells with high purity. These enterocytes are ideal for use in monolayer or co-culture systems to simulate the intestinal barrier in drug discovery, toxicology, and gastrointestinal research.
