Description
Cancer-derived ECM-based tumoroids are three-dimensional (3D) microtumors generated from primary or metastatic tumor tissue embedded within a biologically active extracellular matrix (ECM). These matrices mimic the tumor microenvironment, supporting cell–ECM interactions, invasion, and chemoresistance, while maintaining tumor heterogeneity and histological features of the original tissue.
