Lung

The lung is anatomically and functionally compartmentalised: trachea, bronchi, and alveoli differ in cell composition, mechanical properties, and disease vulnerability. Modelling respiratory conditions therefore requires region-specific platforms rather than a single generic lung model. We offer three distinct tissue assemblies, each recapitulating the relevant epithelial and stromal components of its anatomical compartment, available either as adult stem cells for organoid or hECM-embedded 3D cultures. The addition of lung disease-derived PBMCs with available HLA characterisation enables immune co-culture studies for fibrosis progression, inflammatory lung disease, and T-cell mediated responses, supporting both toxicological screening and mechanistic disease modelling.
